I downloaded the sample HQDivX and it is broken.

Personally, I really liked this, mainly due to it being a new version (or vision) of the original story by Philip K. Dick and not a “remake” of the campy 1990 version which so may people keep wrongly calling it (it was never set on Mars, it was all set on Earth, and there were no aliens). Visually it's Philip K. Dick through and through. The script is a little stilted in places, as is the acting, but it's certainly not the disaster some would make it out to be. It's possible these people saw the shorter (and from what I've read butchered and dumbed down) theatrical version so make sure you watch the longer extended director's cut running 130 minutes.

Just saw Total Recall. I loved the first one and was not disappointed with the second helping. In fact I was glad this rendention was less campy. Stayed up most of the night analyzing the plot twists. There is alot there if you want to try and puzzle it out. Don't want to give anything away but you need to watch and listen closely. The world created by director Len Wiseman looks amazing. Loved it.

Pretty boring for a remake of an iconic film. The actors are just fine, in fact, how nice to have BOTH Kate Beckinsale and especially Jessica Biel chasing Colin Farrell. However, the great wacky actor is trapped in a flat one-note character. The script is utterly dull--both women exclaim the same mild expletive every time something goes wrong-- and the story is sketchy at best. The entire film is a giant set piece that is so derivative of Blade Runner that the set designer must have watch that movie a zillion times before designing this one. My family and I really wanted to love this movie but alas, it was not to be. One last question: "Jessica, where have you been hiding?" ISEEEVERYMOVIE
